OPEN to ___________

Start with a baseline of 4 six-week exhibitions, directly related to OPEN’s core mission. Atop that, relatively low-lift, evergreen, repeatable programs. Each, in addition to providing opportunities for people to share physical spacetime and combat our loneliness epidemic, would be a catalyst for any number of digital assets to be produced. Photos, interviews, critiques, and essays that increase cultural literacy. Programs that bring people together in a safe, respectful space to share stories, to learn, and to grow.

OPEN for Business

The combination of active, on-the-ground events and wide-reaching digital assets fosters economic growth by advertising Providence as a site of interesting activity. OPEN is built on decades of experience in nightlife, hospitality, and public programming—programs will dovetail with existing local activations and citywides, and address need periods by creating events and narratives during traditional need periods. The goal is to build a narrative beat that the public, press, friends in the F&B sector, hospitality sector, and tourism councils can interface with, partner with, and rely on.
