40 DJ request slips from 2002
On April 11, 2002 OPEN’s founder purchased a collection of DJ request slips from a friend, Morgan Hobart, a fellow MassArt SIM student who had a part time job working lights for clubs like Axis (RIP) and Avalon (RIP) on Landsdowne St. Patrons would pass requests to Morgan having mistaken him for the DJ.
They’ve been resting in an envelope for over twenty years, and recently some low-res scans from this past era were located. Birthday jams, going-away sendoffs, bachelorette parties, and Lords of Acid. To the best we’re aware, none of these wishes were granted.
